Béatrice Peltre Photography & Styling Food Travel & Life

I do not think that I could have imagined combining so many of my passions in one occupation: travel, write, cook, style and photograph.

As long as I can remember, I have always been a lover of food, and perhaps this should not come so much as a surprise; growing up in rural France where we attended to our own vegetables and fruit, distilled wine, made preserves, cooked and shared food at length obviously played a strong part in shaping my interests today.

Then, traveling came naturally, starting at an early age and never ever stopping after, keeping me constantly inspired.

As a photographer and stylist, I am a fond observer of the beauty found in life, nature and the natural shapes of food. My work witnesses my attachment and interest in art under all forms.

I am the author of the award-winning food blog La Tartine Gourmande and work as a freelance food writer, food stylist and food photographer. My clients include Chronicle Books, Epic Roots, Edible Boston, the French magazine Cuisine Light. I am also a regular contributor to the Boston Globe food section. I currently live with my husband in Boston.
